A series of stone volumes that leave semi-public spaces between them, connected by a pigmented exposed concrete structure, are accompanied by a sheet of water, which unites the entire complex. The largest volume, both in dimension and in height, is the day area and the rest is the night area.
The materiality of the house seeks the encounter between Mediterranean architecture throughout the exterior, with the execution of its walls with stone from Benisa, using the traditional rigging of the terraces of the area, pigmented concrete in the tone of the stone and textured with pine wood planks and a more Nordic architecture for the interior, where the oak wood paneling integrates all the elements that make up the interior envelopes of the house.
The dining room is a space with a higher height, where the ceiling is made of exposed concrete, thus being faithful to its structure, and with a kitchen that can be left visible or hidden with the retractable doors that limit it. The island becomes the main table in the dining room, generating two scenes: the living room scene or the kitchen scene.
An exterior patio, where an olive tree is located, and the ascent to the upper solarium takes place, is the element that divides the house between the more public and private areas, where the rooms are located.
The opening strategy of the different exterior patios between rooms serves to generate cross ventilation in them.
Finally, the exterior porch materialized with large-edged concrete beams, pigmented and covered with reeds, frame the complex and, above all, the exceptional views of the Montgo and, on the other hand, the Sierra de Bernia as a background to the landscape.
