The figures have been in line with the magnitude of the event and its power to attract visitors. The three events will completely fill the eight pavilions on the two levels of the Foro Centro de Feria Valencia, with a total of 96,000 square metres of exhibition space. In the end, 925 exhibiting firms and brands from the sectors represented have participated in the three events, 20% of which came from 16 countries.
Feria Hábitat València, in constant progress
Habitat has once again been the great driving force behind this joint event. The great ‘made in Spain’ habitat fair seems to have no end in its constant progression from the last editions and this 2024 has brought together 384 direct exhibitors and 655 exhibiting firms represented, which is 4% more than last year’s event and almost 9% more than in 2022, the last edition of the confluence of the three fairs.
Exhibitors among which have been the main reference firms in furniture, lighting or decoration, which this year has opened an entire pavilion dedicated to the best international decoration and interior design firms. A showcase with 21% foreign presence, among which high-end Italian firms in the field of avant-garde design stand out. Also noteworthy is the powerful campaign of national and international buyers through which the visit of more than 3,000 invited buyers from 70 countries has been closed, with the support of Feria Valencia itself, Anieme, the Generalitat Valenciana, IVACE + i Internacional and ICEX.
Habitat, which continues to grow with 78,000 square meters and occupying more than six pavilions, has focused its attention this year on the hotel industry and the contract channel, in the heat of the high demand of the tourism sector and the renovation of hotels.
In fact, the event has joined forces with the Hotel Technology Institute – ITH to offer a series of exclusive conferences on the hotel sector in which the main hotel chains have participated as well as project managers such as Tom Ito, head of hospitality for the largest architectural studio in the world, Gensler.
In line with this commitment, Habitat has launched ‘Hotel Habitat’, an innovative facility designed by architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez, which has recreated an authentic designer hotel with the best of the Spanish habitat industry in its more than 800 m2.
It also has the added attraction of the emerging design incubator Salón nude, with participants from France, Argentina and Spain, as well as the series of conferences on trends and design ‘Ágora nude’, with the participation of design stars such as Inma Bermúdez and Ramón Esteve.
A Habitat Valencia Fair that this year has sparked the interest of social networks and that will have as brand ambassadors seven of the biggest ‘influencers’ in the interior design and decoration sector, who will tell us from their networks everything that happens in the halls of the fair.
Textilhogar, textiles for the home and contract
For its part, Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium is consolidating itself as the best travel companion of Habitat and this year it has brought together 61 direct exhibitors and 183 represented firms in the textile pavilion, 11% of which are from France, the Netherlands and Portugal.
An event in which the best proposals in textiles for the home and contract have stood out, with a prominent space for textile editors and in which the central installation of the designer Sigfrido Serra - named as one of the creatives of the year - will shine. With the help of the magazine Interiores, he has created a textile fantasy called ‘Orange Forest’, of Mediterranean inspiration and which has also been the container where the textile trends area of AITEX is located.
Textilhogar has also strengthened its international business platform and, with the help of ATEVAL – Home Textiles From Spain, with a reverse mission of international buyers and prescribers from 38 countries, with the support of IVACE International and ICEX.
