More than two years later since the last edition, the 8th edition of Montgorock ends under the slogan “2021, We Come Back Stronger”, despite the difficulties this year due to Covid and in the last week due to rain forecasts due to the Dana who threatened his fulfillment until the last day.
If something must be highlighted about the rest of the things in this edition, it is the good behavior and acceptance of the conditions and restrictions that the pandemic forced on the part of the public, which has once again demonstrated its loyalty to the festival and to R&R in particular.
Despite the masks and preventive measures, the Montrocker public was excited, who had been waiting for many months for this reunion with some of their favorite artists such as Depedro, Ariel Rot, Los Zigarros or Sexy Zebras. The latter were especially excited, since they had not played live for 2 years, so their singer thanked the organization on stage for the courage of wanting to celebrate the festival despite difficult times, and thus continue to promote music and culture.
They have been two days without incidents that both the artists and the public have been able to enjoy very good live performances with their friends in a fantastic atmosphere of enjoyment, the closest thing to what a festival has always been, and in an environment like the one it offers Jávea, near the sea and with the figure of Montgó always present at the foot of the enclosure.
Thanks from the organization to all those who have participated in this edition so that it is possible despite the difficulties, to the artists, the management offices, the sponsors, the City Council of Jàvea, the suppliers, Jessica Bataille, the volunteers and festival workers, the State security forces and bodies and of course the public for trusting in the festival this year and for their good behavior and enjoyment.
The organization has already got down to work to prepare the next edition, which will be next May. Tickets will be on sale shortly and news about the new Montgorock Xàbia Festival 2022 Poster.
